Hojat-ol-Islam Abolfazl Moqimi, the research deputy of the Qom Islamic Seminary, made the remark in the International Conference on Tafsir Tasnim, held at Dar al-Shifa School in Qom on Monday, adding that tens of papers have also been authored by scholars about the Quranic work.
This indicates the lofty status of the Quran exegesis, he underlined.
Referring to the activities of the secretariat of the conference, he said a book introducing the Quran interpretation has been published in different languages and a short film has also been produced featuring 40 years of compilation of Tasnim.
According to the cleric, 70 scholarly forums have been organized in different provinces of Iran over the past few months in preparation for the conference.
He went on to say that a number of scholarly groups will be formed in the coming months to investigate more aspects of this grand work and there also be more conferences on Tasnim Quran Exegesis.

He provided a report on this matter and said on over three decades, from 1992 to the present, there are several noteworthy points in the compilation of this Tafsir. “Since the Tasnim Exegesis is derived from the lessons of (Ayatollah Javadi Amoli), a group of 12 people engaged in recording, researching, organizing, and correcting the lessons.”
He added, “After the lesson was imparted by the scholar and the research and arrangement of all 80 volumes from beginning to end were reviewed by him, he revised the commentaries and added to them. The researchers at the Tasnim Institute have all been students of the esteemed master. Their love for the enlightening teachings of the Quran and devotion to their esteemed professor kept them engaged in this work for 34 years.”
